Fake Food, Fake Puke

Alton no longer has access to some of his play food as he's developed the unseemly habit of "throwing up" scoops of plastic ice cream or whipped topping. I don't know what compels him to regurgitate his fake food, but he does with such drama J and I have repeatedly thought he was actually puking.

He is not, thankfully, in the habit of throwing up real food.

Speaking of digestion, mushrooms are now off the little man's acceptable list of consumables.

This is new to us.

For months now, Alton's gobbled up whatever we've put before him. In the last month, however, he's tastes have started to change and some of his favorites are no longer acceptable. Carrots and cheesy crackers are out of rotation. He can't even stand the sight of an avocado!

This makes us nervous.

What happens when broccoli can no longer cure our son's ills?
