We inadvertently followed a Great Blue Heron on our walk along the lake yesterday. I don’t think I’ve ever been quite so close to a heron before – poor bird.
We leave for the holiday tomorrow evening. I can't wait! We'll be reunited with our cat who has adapted quite well to her temporary home. I hope she hasn't become so comfortable that she doesn't remember us.
